Foreign Minister Pacolli introduces foreign policy priorities to students of the University of Vienna and LidoPrishtina, 19 January 2018 – First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr Behgjet Pacolli, hosted a group of students from the University of Vienna and University of Lido in Venice, who study Human Rights and Democratization, as well as the coordinators of these groups, Marijana Grandits and Teuta Durmishi.
On this occasion, after warmly welcoming, Minister Pacolli informed them about the processes that Kosovo is going through. Particular importance was also dedicated to Kosovo diplomacy that, as he said, is increasingly advancing thanks to the reforms and changes taking place in diplomatic terms. “Kosovo is already on the verge of the 10th anniversary of independence and we are all working to have an easier access to the international aspect and at the same time to increase the number of recognitions by working intensively at the opening of new Embassies in countries where we have very good friendly relations, but in which we still have no diplomatic representation”, said Minister Pacolli. On the other hand, Marijana Grandits, academic coordinator, spoke about the importance of this visit for the students. “The purpose of the visit is to see the reality in Kosovo. The students can hear about Kosovo and get information from social networks, but, however, it is important that since 2004 there has been a large number of students who have received information and were familiarized with the reality in Kosovo”, she said.
