Deputy Prime Minister Pacolli accepts the Verbal Note of Recognition from Madagascar

Paris, 25 November 2017 – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Behgjet Pacolli, officially accepted the Verbal Note of the recognition of the Republic of Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state by the Republic of Madagascar after meeting his counterpart from the above state at the margins of the meeting of Francophone countries, which is being held in Paris.

“Congratulations Kosovo, Thank you Madagascar. From now on, Kosovo and Madagascar have one more friend. My sincere thanks to the people, the President and the Government of Madagascar", said Foreign Minister Pacolli.

In the context of this meeting, both interlocutors expressed their mutual commitment to deepen the cooperation between the two countries and the two peoples, as well as, establishing diplomatic relations to open the way to the diplomatic representation at the level of ambassadors between the two respective countries.
Madagascar is a state located on the south-eastern coast of Africa.
