Jordan recognizes the Republic of Kosovo

The Hashimite Kingdom has recognized the Republic of Kosovo as a sovereign and Independent country. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo officially has been notified by the Ambassador of Jordan to the United Nations, H.E. Mohammed F. Al-Allaf.

Ambassador Mohamed F. Al-Allaf informed minister Hyseni for the decision taken by the Hashimite Kingdom of Jordan to recognize the independence of Kosovo.

Minister Hyseni expressed his appreciation to his majesty, King Abdullah II, for his will to recognize the independence of Kosovo through the Jordanian government.

Minister Hyseni expressed his appreciation of the recognition of Kosovo to the people of Jordan, its Government, his counterpart Naser Joudah and ambassador Al-Allaf for his personal engagement regarding Kosovo.

Jordan is the 61 country to recognize Kosovo.
