First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pacolli hosted Ambassador of Hungary, Kosovo and Hungary aim at increasing trade exchangePrishtina, 3 October 2017 - First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Behgjet Pacolli, hosted in a separate meeting the Ambassador of Hungary to Kosovo, Mr. Laszlo Márkusz.
In the framework of this meeting, the re-orientation of economic cooperation was discussed, with a special focus on fostering trade exchange between the two countries and that of the EU common market.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pacolli expressed the readiness for Hungary to be even more present in the Kosovar market, with the aim to create opportunities for the Kosovar side, and also to look at the possibilities of creating new partnerships between two countries in function of achieving this goal.
Also, First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pacolli praised Hungary's support with the soft loan it has given to Kosovo, which is intended to be invested in environmental projects. A special thanks to the Hungarian Ambassador also has been made for the Hungarian support with 50 scholarships for Kosovar students studying at the Universities of this country.
Within the margins of this meeting, the Hungarian Ambassador informed the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Pacolli also for the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Visegrad Group, expected to be held in Budapest.
