First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Behgjet Pacolli, met the Ambassador of Finland – discussed visa liberalization

Prishtina, 12 September 2017 - Firt Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Behgjet Pacolli, hosted in a meeting the Ambassador of Finland, Anne Huhtamäki.

The Ambassador of Finland congratulated Pacolli on his new office, offering the support and cooperation of Finland in the processes which Republic of Kosovo is undergoing.

During the meeting they discussed about the bilateral relations between both countries, emphasizing the mutual willingness for relations in many fields, especially in the economic one. Ambassador Huhtamäki stated that based on the experience and relations of Minister Pacolli, she expects improvement of international subjectivity of Kosovo in international arena. She also reconfirmed the support of Finland for membership of Kosovo in international organizations.

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Pacolli, presented the government objectives as regards foreign policy, expressing the dedication of the Government to meeting the criteria required to achieve visa liberalization as quickly as possible for Kosovo citizens.
