Press Release: Ministri Demaj welcomed reappointment of Mr. Bushati as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania.

Prishtina, 28 August 2017 – The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Emanuel Demaj, welcomed the reappointment of his Albanian counterpart, Ditmir Bushati as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania for another term, stating that his reappointment as the Head of Albanian diplomacy is of particular importance to the further consolidation of the Republic of Kosovo and its integration in Euro-Atlantic structures and international community.

“It is with great pleasure that I received the news for reappointment of Ministry Bushati for another term as the head of Albanian diplomacy. I hope his work will be of importance not only to full integration of the Republic of Albania in Euro-Atlantic structures, but also in continuing the strong support to further consolidation of the Republic of Kosovo and its integration in Euro-Atlantic structures and international community, as Minister Bushati proven his work to be in the previous mandate. I extend my highest considerations to the reappointed minister Bushati, and at the same time would like to express my readiness and willingness to continue cooperation and coordination on issues of interest for both countries”, stated Minister Demaj.
