Kosovo takes the first place in photo competition, among 31 competitive countries in Presheva

Prishtine, 27 November 2017 - The International Photo Competition "PrePhoto" was held last night in Presheva, where among citizens there were also numerous photographers who came from different parts of the world.

The seventh edition of this competition gathered for the first time the representatives of ministries of culture of Albania and Kosovo. Ministry of Culture of Kosovo, promised to the citizens present even greater support in the coming years! Some participants went to support, some to visit and some were competing, and they were evaluated by a professional jury composed of: Arbes Fusha from Albania, Vladimir Jovanovski from Macedonia and Mumin Jashari from Kosovo.

The first price went to Kosovo, with the photo of photographer Bleron Caka. Second place belonged to Moldova with the photo “On the way to the market”, Anatolie Poiata. The third place belonged to, Willem Halbach from the Netherlands with the photo “Between concrete”.

The member of the jury, prof. Arbes Fusha said; “Among many good photos, we, the jury had a joint opinion that these photos, based on the photos criteria, deserved to be selected”. The ‘PrePhoto’ staff along with the jury awarded with the special price the Turkish photographer, Musa Talasli with the photo “After an earthquake”. On the other hand, Iliada Ndoci from Albania was awarded with the encouraging price.

PrePhoto staff, young people who organized it, said that; we hope that until the 100th edition, all the states will get familiar with and work together for the best, the quality of photography and for the place such as the Valley.”
