The film "Memory" of the Kosovo film director will be screened today at the Virginia Film Festival

Prishtina, 10 November 2017 – "Memory", the film of the Kosovar film director, Ilirjan Himaj, will be screened on Friday, at the Virginia Film Festival.

Through a post on the social network Facebook, the Kosovo Embassy in Washington invited all filmmakers to attend this festival and watch the movie. "Memory" brings the story of the old man named Sylë, who suffers from the Alzheimer disease.

He goes out to buy a toy for his grandson. Facing the illness, cold winter, and snowfall, he fails to remember the way back home. The actors starring in this film are: Xhevat Qorraj, Igballe Qena, Selman Lokaj, Avdullah Gjikokaj, Besim Ajeti, Agron Krasniqi, Labinot Lajçi and Agron Shala.

Many celebrities will be present at the opening of the Virginia Film Festival, including the well-known film director Spike Lee and the actor nominated for Oscar and Golden Globe, William H. Macy.
