Kosovars towards the top of Mount Everest

Prishtina, 14 Decembar 2015 - Alpine Club Prishtina has officially launched organizational, technical and psychophysical preparations for Conquest Expedition to Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world, which will be realized in early 2017.

According to the announcement from this club, the expedition will be dedicated to Mother Teresa and the new state of Kosovo and was organized by four climbers of the Alpine Club Prishtina.

For this expedition, President Atifete Jahjaga and other domestic institutions have expressed strong support. The club has received the state flag from Jahjaga, who is committed to expedition's official support until its final realization.

The Alpine Club Prishtina thanked the Albanian climbers Aleksandër Bojaxhiu and Gjergj Bojaxhiu who had previously conquered Everest, for support in preparation.

Finally, the Alpine Club Prishtina has invited the fans to support in every possible way the expedition for conquering of Mount Everest in 2017.
