The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Meliza Haradinaj-Stublla, congratulated on behalf of the Republic of Kosovo and its people, the institutions and people of the Republic of Bulgaria, on the occasion of the Liberation Day.
The Kosovo chief diplomat wished the friendly Bulgarian people health, well-being, and prosperity, while expressing gratitude for the continuous support of the Republic of Bulgaria to the strengthening of the international subjectivity of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as in its integration path.
“The Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Bulgaria enjoy a strong relationship, while our peoples enjoy a lasting friendship. Kosovo is grateful for Bulgaria's support on our path to state-building and now on the path to full Euro-Atlantic integration”, said Minister Haradinaj-Stublla.
The Republic of Bulgaria is one of the first countries to recognize Kosovo's independence on 20 March 2008, while the two countries established diplomatic relations on 11 June 2009.
