Minister Hoxhaj sends a note of condolence to U.S. Secretary of the State, Hillary Clinton following the criminal assault in Oakland, California

Prishtina, 3 April 2012 – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj sent a note of condolence to the U.S. Secretary of the State, Hillary Clinton following the criminal act that occurred yesterday at the University of Oikos in Oakland, California, in the United States of America.

On behalf of the citizens and the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo Minister Hoxhaj expressed his deep pain and sorrow over this criminal act which according to the information received thus far, has caused six victims and wounded three innocent citizens of the United States.

On this note, Minister Hoxhaj expressed the full solidarity of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo with the people of the United States in these difficult moments underscoring the hope that such events would never be repeated in the United States of America or any other place in the world.

“The people and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo joins in the pain and sorrow of the victims’ families who have lost their loved ones by joining the prayers of the American people for a speedy recovery of those wounded”, states the note.

Minister Hoxhaj expressed his highest esteem for the American authorities for the extraordinary job they’re doing in overcoming the situation.
