Minister Hoxhaj receives strong support from Belgium
In this meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two states, which both ministers evaluated as excellent. On this occasion, Minister Hoxhaj thanked Minister Reynders for Belgium’s continuing support for state-building in the Republic of Kosovo.
The European perspective of the Republic of Kosovo was also addressed, as well as the agreements reached between the Republic of Kosovo and Republic of Serbia, in technical dialogue facilitated by the European Union.
On this occasion, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium, Didier Reynders congratulated the Government of the Republic of Kosovo for its European behavior in dialogue.
Reynders emphasized that Belgium welcomes the conclusions of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the European Union to start a Feasibility Study, as the first step toward signing a Stabilization and Association Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the European Union.
Minister Hoxhaj also assured Minister Reynders that Belgium will continue supporting the Republic of Kosovo’s integration and membership in international organizations.
The Belgian Minister congratulated Minister Hoxhaj for comprehensive reforms undertaken in the Republic of Kosovo, which have speeded up the process of concluding the supervision of independence.
