Press release

Prishtina, 14 April 2018 – First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Behgjet Pacolli, supports the intervention of the allied states of the Republic of Kosovo in Syria against the regime of President Bashar al-Assad, which came as a result of suspected chemical weapons attack in the Syrian city of Douma and killed dozens of innocent civilians in the most inhuman way.

“Kosovo strongly supports and aligns with the actions taken by the strategic allies of our country - the United States, the United Kingdom and France in Syria. The use of chemical weapons is unacceptable. Those in charge should be brought to justice so such actions are not to be repeated”, stated the Kosovo chief diplomat.
