First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Behgjet Pacolli, takes office as Minister of Foreign Affairs

Prishtina, September 11, 2017 - First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Behgjet Pacolli, has today taken office as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo taking over from the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emanuel Demaj, during an official handover ceremony, which took place at the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On the occasion of the handover, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Demaj initially welcomed the new Foreign Minister, Behgjet Pacolli, informing him about the current situation in this Institution, as well as on the tasks and engagements and processes of particular importance, which await the Foreign Ministry during the upcoming period.

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Behgjet Pacolli, thanked Mr. Emanuel Demaj and the other MFA leadership for their work, commitment and dedication so far.

Furthermore, he pledged full and professional co-operation with all officials in this Institution, highlighting in particular some of the key principles of his governance and leadership which is based on human values, but also giving special importance to quality, engagement and full commitment to work.
