Hoxhaj condemns the attack on Ambassador Çitaku: an inadmissible act that harms Kosovo

Prishtina, 18 March 2017 – Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj has strongly condemned the attack on the Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in the United States of America, Vlora Çitaku, by a political activist, who propagated in the most shameful way against Kosovo.

“Such an attack, against the Ambassador Çitaku, while representing Kosovo in a conversation with Ambassador Christopher Hill in one of the most prestigious US universities, is not only addressed to a particular person, such as Ambassador Çitaku, but also to the state institutions and self image of our country”, said Hoxhaj. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs invites all Albanians living abroad to express displease in a civilized manner and always considering the interests of Kosovo. The attack on a diplomatic representative accredited to a country like the United States is unacceptable and punishable.
