Hoxhaj with the Francophone delegation: Kosovars increasingly interested in French language and culture

Prishtina, April 21, 2017 – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj have met today the Head of Mission for Europe at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie, Jean Paul Wahl and his delegation, who are staying for a visit in Kosovo.

Minister Hoxhaj thanked the members of the Belgian delegation for visiting Kosovo; meanwhile spoke about the interest of youth from Kosovo to learn more about the French language and culture.

Likewise, Hoxhaj expressed special thanks for the great support that Belgium has given to Kosovo to become member of the World Customs Organization. Hoxhaj asked them to continue supporting Kosovo in the process of membership to international organizations, since Kosovo is planning to apply in several organizations this year.

“The support of Belgium has been very important for membership of Kosovo to the World Customs Organization, for which we are very thankful. I have requested that this support continues also in the process of membership to other organizations, since we will have several applications in various organizations this year,” said Hoxhaj.

Kosovo is a member of the Francophone Organization since 2014.
