Foreign Minister Pacolli meets his counterparts from the United Arab Emirates, Somalia, Afghanistan and Rumania, discussing about enhancement of cooperation with these countries

Abu Dhabi, 1 March 2019 – In the course of his participation and representation of the Republic of Kosovo to the 46th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation, which opened its plenaries today in the United Arab Emirates, the First Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr Behgjet Pacolli, conducted several meetings with his counterparts from various states, who are attending this event.   

On this occasion, the second top Government Official, Pacolli, initially met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

“It is a pleasure to meet my good friend, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, His Majesty Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and to discuss with him about the excellent relations that Kosovo and the United Emirates have. We will strengthen our partnership in economy and trade through specific projects, which will be beneficial for both our countries,” said the Kosovo top diplomat Pacolli, after this meeting.  

On the margins of the 46th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC, the Foreign Minister Pacolli also met his counterparts from Somalia, Ahmed Isee Awad, the Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, Salahuddin Rabbani, and the Foreign Minister of Rumania, Teodor Melescanu.
