Prishtina, 25 February 2019 – The Deputy Foreign Minister, Ms. Rejhan Vuniqi, welcomed today the Non-Resident Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Kosovo, Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino, in an official meeting in the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, from whom she received copies of credential letters.
In the framework of this meeting, the Deputy Minister Vuniqi requested further support of Malaysia in the process of membership of our country to international organizations, and she expressed the interest of Kosovo for continuing the cooperation in the area of economy, agriculture and education, which was considered of interest also by the Ambassador of this state.
Cooperation with the Diplomatic Academy of the MFA and considering the possibility of visa waiver for the Kosovo citizens travelling to Malaysia were other topics of discussion.
In the following, the Ambassador Melvin Castelino expressed his gratefulness for the hospitality and conveyed his personal willingness to contribute to continuation of very good relations between the two countries.
Moreover, it was also discussed about exchanging of visits by the highest state levels.
