New York, 27 September 2018 – Burkina Faso’s chief diplomat, Alpha Berry, guaranteed the Chief Diplomat of the Republic of Kosovo, Behgjet Pacolli, for the full and unreserved support of this country for our country’s membership in National Organizations, respectfully to INTERPOL and Francophonie, during an official meeting they had on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly annual plenaries in New York.
“The Minister Barry, part of a new Government, asked me for information on the progress of the dialogue and guaranteed that Burkina Faso’s support for Kosovo in International Organizations, Francophone and Interpol will continue. I invited him to visit Kosovo, an invitation that was accepted with pleasure by my counterpart, “said the Foreign Minister Pacolli, stating that” it is impressive to feel the seriousness and honesty with which some African countries treat Kosovo, which during this period have been under pressure, flattery, manipulations of Serbia to attract Kosovo’s recognition.”
“That is why, from the bottom of my heart, I thanked the Foreign Minister of Burkina Faso, Alpha Berry, a country which recognized us at a very important moment for Kosovo. Burkina Faso has not surrendered to the pressure of the Minister Dacic, who has long before visited his country”, said the Minister Pacolli.
