Dubrovnik, 1 September 2018 – In the framework of the Dubrovnik Forum, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rejhan Vuniqi, met with the Special Representative for European Affairs within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Mr. Thomas Ossowski.
During this meeting, The Deputy Minister Vuniqi initially thanked her interlocutor for the so far support of the German state for Kosovo, while discussing the current processes that the country is going through.
In addition, she asked the German diplomat to support the process of visa liberalization, membership to Interpol, as well as Kosovo’s further path towards European integration.
From his side, Mr. Ossowski assured the Deputy Minister Vuniqi that Germany will continue to support Kosovo and with reference to processes such as visa liberalization and INTERPOL, he requested to coordinate efforts to secure successful processes.
Mr. Ossowski was also interested in the course of the Republic of Kosovo dialogue with Serbia and requested continued efforts to reach an agreement that guarantees wide-ranging regional stability.
