Vaduz, 21 June 2018 – The First Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Behgjet Pacolli, continued his diplomatic tour to Europe by a bilateral meeting that he conducted on Thursday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Justice and Culture of the Principality of Lichtenstein, Mss Aurelia Frick.
Deepening of bilateral relations, visa liberalisation, membership of our country to international organizations, advancement of European Agenda and the dialogue with Serbia were some of the main topics of this meeting between the Chief Diplomats of both countries.
In addition, the Foreign Minister Pacolli, expressed his gratitude to the Principality of Lichtenstein for the continuous and unwavering support to the Kosovo State; expressing the willingness and readiness of the State Institutions to further deepen and expand the institutional cooperation and partnership between the two countries by initiating and signing new agreements that would create new opportunities.
The second top Government Official further requested support for the membership of Kosovo to European and International Organizations and the possible contribution of this state in regards to visa liberalisation, though this country is not an EU Member, but only a member of Schengen Area.
After concluding the visit and the respective meetings to the Principality of Lichtenstein, the Chief Diplomat will continue his visit to the Swiss Confederation, on 22 June, Friday, wherein he will be welcomed by the Head of Department of Foreign Affairs, Mr Ignazo Cassis.
