Ambassador Shala submits his letters of credentials to His Majesty the Emperor Akihito

Tokyo, 27 November 2012 – Today in Tokyo, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Japan, Ahmet Shala, submitted his letters of credentials to His Majesty the Emperor, Akihito.

The formal ceremony for presenting the letters of credential took place in the Imperial Palace in Tokyo.
 
His Majesty the Emperor Akihito expressed his pleasure at welcoming and accrediting the Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Japan and for the friendly relations between the two countries, wishing Ambassador Shala success in his work.

Ambassador Shala extended to the Emperor greetings from the institutions and people of the Republic of Kosovo.

Discussing further the friendly bilateral links and relations, Ambassador Shala emphasized that he would work hard to further strengthen relations between the two friendly countries and peoples.

Emperor Akihito expressed his satisfaction at Kosovo’s development, wishing a prosperous future to the people of Kosovo.
