Muhamedin Kullashi, Non-Resident Ambassador to Portugal

Prishtina, September 20, 2012 – Kosovo’s Ambassador to France, Muhamedin Kullashi presented his credentials as Non-Resident Ambassador of Kosovo to Portugal.

On the same day, credentials were presented to the President of the Republic of Portugal by the Ambassadors of Togo, Nigeria, Gabon, Myanmar (Burma), and Malta.  

After arriving at the court of the Presidential Palace, pursuant to protocol, ambassador Kullashi was received by the Guard of the Republic that played the anthem of Kosovo and Portugal.

Following the reception of the credentials, the President of Portugal, Aníbal Cavaco Silva was briefed on the most recent political developments in Kosovo.

President Silva emphasized that Portugal views that it is important to support Kosovo on its journey towards its independence.
