Hoxhaj: Support of German Bundestag is of special importance for the Republic of Kosovo

Minister Hoxhaj thanked Mr. Hempelmann for the major support Germany gas given to Kosovo during its all stages and underlined that Germany remains among the key strategic partners of the Republic of Kosovo.

In particular, he stressed the support that the German Bundestag has provided and continues to provide, as well as all its fractions, and as Minister Hoxhaj stated, this support is of special importance in strengthening and consolidating the statehood of Kosovo in all aspects.

Hoxhaj briefed Mr. Hempelmann on Kosovo’s progress and reforms that are taking place in institutions as well as for the maximal engagements of institutions in integration processes.

He stated that the agenda of the state of Kosovo following the end of independence supervision is to advance Kosovo’s integration processes starting with the removal of visas for Kosovar up to the feasibility study for the stabilization-association agreement.

Hoxhaj asked for the ongoing support of Germany in Euro-Integration processes by considering this support for the Republic of Kosovo as decisive.

On the other hand, the member of German Bundestag, Rolf Hempelmann stated the ongoing support of Bundestag and other German institutions for Kosovo, including Euro-Integration processes.
