Hoxhaj: German, one of Kosovo’s key strategic partners

Minister Hoxhaj thanked Mr. Lambsdorff for the extraordinary assistance Germany has given to Kosovo in all phases, emphasizing that Germany remains one of the key strategic partners of the Republic of Kosovo.

Hoxhaj informed Mr. Lambsdorff about progress in Kosovo, reforms being undertaken by the institutions and the maximum efforts of the Kosovo institutions with regard to integration.

Minister Hoxhaj also informed the senior German MFA official about Kosovo’s state agenda after the conclusion of the supervision of Kosovo’s independence.
 
He stressed that after this historic decision, Kosovo’s only agenda is moving integration forward, starting with the removal of visas for Kosovo’s citizens and up to the feasibility study for a stabilization and association agreement.

Hoxhaj asked for further support from Germany for Kosovo for European integration, considering this as decisive for the Republic of Kosovo.

Nikolaus Lambsdorff, Balkans Director at the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed Germany’s continuing support for Kosovo, including for European integration.
