Minister Hoxhaj congratulates Mohamed Kamel Amr for his re-election as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt

Prishtina, 3 August 2012 – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj, has sent a letter congratulating the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, Mohamed Kamel Amr, for his re-election in the post as the head of Egyptian diplomacy.

In the letter, Minister Hoxhaj extends his congratulations and appreciations of highest consideration for Minister Amr.

Hoxhaj also added that citizens of the Republic of Kosovo recognize and respect Egypt’s efforts for peace and prosperity for their citizens and that these admired purposes are also shared by the citizens of Kosovo.

“We hope that with the establishment of the new Egyptian Government, Egypt’s policy towards Kosovo will evolve positively”, reads the letter sent by Minister Hoxhaj to his counterpart Amr.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo also extended the full readiness to work closely with Minister Amr in efforts to strengthen friendship between the two states and to promote bilateral exchange and cooperation “since we share similar objectives based on joint principles”.
