Minister Hoxhaj congratulates Swiss counterpart on National Day of the Swiss Confederation

Prishtina, 1 August 2012 – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj, sent a letter of congratulation to the Head of the Federal Department on Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, Didier Burkhalter, on the occasion of marking 1 August, National Day of the Swiss Confederation.

In his letter, Minister Hoxhaj, on behalf of the citizens and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, congratulated the people and the institutions of Swiss Confederation for this national holiday.

Hoxhaj also extended the gratitude of the people of Kosovo for the support provided by Switzerland to Kosovo and its citizens and highlighted the will of the institutions of Kosovo to deepen further the friendly relations and bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

“As we are strengthening democratic institutions, economy and rule of law in Kosovo, our gratitude for the active support of Switzerland endures”, reads, among others, the letter sent by Minister Hoxhaj.
