Minister Hoxhaj meets the Croat counter-part, Pusić

Dubrovnik, July 8, 2012 – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj, besides participating in the Summit "Croatia 2012" in Dubrovnik, has held a formal meeting with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia, Vesna Pusic.

Pusic and Hoxhaj talked about the overall deepening of bilateral relations between the two countries, to promote political and institutional cooperation, strengthening economic, trade exchanges, and enhance cooperation in the fields of culture, education etc.

Hoxhaj asked Croatia to support the rapid advancement and success of Kosovo integration into Euro-Atlantic structures.

Minister Pusic stressed Croatia’s determination to provide Kosovo with all necessary assistance in the integration processes through the successful experience the Croatian experience in this journey.

During the International Summit "Croatia 2012", Minister Enver Hoxhaj held meetings with senior representatives of many other countries, including countries that have not yet taken a decision to recognize the independent and sovereign Kosovo.

Hoxhaj had a special meeting with Deputy Minister of European Affairs of Egypt, Amr Helmy, from which he sought Egypt’s recognition as of Kosovo as soon as possible.
