Minister Hoxhaj congratulates new Foreign Minister of Albania Edmond Panariti

Prishtina, 4 July 2012 – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj, has sent a letter of congratulations to the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Albania, Edmond Panariti, upon his election to the post.

Minister Hoxhaj expressed congratulations on behalf of the Government and the citizens of Kosovo wishing Mr. Panariti successes in the tasks awaiting him and the Albanian nation. 

The telegram by Minister Hoxhaj highly assesses the excellent relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania. 

“Honorable Mr. Minister, the cooperation between our countries reflects the will of our citizens to continually advance our bilateral relations. This cooperation is not only bonded by our joint history and culture, but also by our objectives to be developed countries and part of the European Union,” said Hoxhaj.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo also pointed out that the Republic of Kosovo has enjoyed overall support from the institutions of the Republic of Albania to strengthen its international subjectivity through the increase of the number of recognition and participation in regional and international organizations and forums. 

“Furthermore, whenever it was necessary, the Republic of Albania also represented the interests of the citizens of Kosovo. Thanking you for the excellent cooperation with the institutions of Albania, I am sure that our cooperation will only advance,” added Hoxhaj.
