Minister Hoxhaj condemns the shooting down of the Turkish jet by Assad’s regime

Prishtina, June 26, 2012 – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj has sent a letter to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Ahmet Davutoglu, strongly condemning the Syrian forces’ attack against Turkey’s planes.

“The Republic of Kosovo joins the world’s democratic states and the NATO Council in opposing and condemning of this attack, which is unacceptable to the people and Government of Kosovo. This attack once again proves that Assad’s regime continues to violate all international norms of peace, security and human rights. The Republic of Kosovo supports Syrian people’s aspirations for freedom, human dignity and political rights”, reads in the letter of the Prime Minister Hoxhaj.
