Minister Hoxhaj meets the former head of the American Office in Prishtina, Ambassador Menzies

Prishtina, 28 May 2012 – Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj, held a meeting with the former head of the American Office in Prishtina, Ambassador John Menzies, who is currently dean of the Faculty of Diplomacy and International Relations at "Setten Hall University", accompanied by Professor Robert Barry, former American Ambassador and 20 students from this faculty.

Minister Hoxhaj informed Ambassador Menzies about the latest developments in Kosovo, internal state-building reforms and the strengthening of the international subjectivity of the Republic of Kosovo.

Hoxhaj emphasized the strong commitment of Kosovo’s institutions and citizens to processes of Euro-Atlantic integration.

Kosovo’s Foreign Minister also discussed with the American professors and students the continual progress of recognition of Kosovo, expressing his conviction that in the coming days, this process will move forward positively.

Ambassador John Menzies praised the progress achieved in Kosovo, expressing his conviction that Kosovo will grow stronger in all aspects relating to statehood and its international subjectivity.
