Hysa submits credential letters to the President of Macedonia, Gjorge Ivanov

The Kosovo Ambassador to Macedonia, Ylber Hysa, was waited today at a solemn audience at the Presidential palace in Skopje, by the President of the republic of Macedonia, George Ivanov, where he submitted credential letters as plenipotentiary ambassador of Kosovo in this state.

During  the  meeting  Ambassador  Hysa has conveyed to President Ivanov the greetings  of  President Jahjaga and Kosovo Government, expressing the will for sincere inter-governmental cooperation between the two countries.

“To   us,   a  Republic  of  Macedonia  with  the  completed  Euro-Atlantic integration  process,  internal  stability  based  on Ohrid Agreement, is a national  policy and interest of Kosovo,” said Hysa, expressing the will of the  Government of Kosovo for intensification of the good relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Hysa also expressed the aim to move further with the endorsement of   the  remaining  agreements  this  year,  on  the  fields  of  culture, possibility  of  opening  new  movement  customs  points  between  the  two countries,  increase of infrastructure capacities that would facilitate the communication between the two societies.

“Kosovo  is the second economic partner of Macedonia’s foreign trade. There is  a  traditional communication on the productions and services offered in Macedonia  for  Kosovo citizens, including health care. It is important for us that these exchanges of people, values and capital, to be the moments of getting  closer,  based  on European values,” said Hysa, expressing his and Kosovo  state’s  readiness on establishment of this significant cooperation as  factor  of  inter-state  cooperation  that  contributes in the regional stability.

Ylber Hysa is the first plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of
Kosovo in Skopje, until now the diplomatic representation was at the level of the Acting Ambassador.
