Ambassador Peci handed-over the credential papers to the President of the Republic of Lithuania

Vilnius, 2 May 2012 – The Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to Sweden, Lulzim Peci, in a solemn event at the Presidential Palace in Vilnius, submitted the credential papers to Her Excellency, Dalia Grybauskaite, President of the Republic of Lithuania.

Ambassador Peci conveyed to President Grybauskaite the salute by the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga and briefed her on the progress achieved in the Republic of Kosovo.

President Grybauskaite also conveyed her salute for President Jahjaga and encouraged as she encouraged her to continue with the expedited rhythm of reforms and expressed her support for Kosovo’s process of integration into the European Union.

By the conclusion of the solemn event with Her Excellency, Dalia Grybauskaite, President of the Republic of Lithuania, Ambassador Peci stressed that bilateral relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Lithuania are very important and assured her that he will do everything possible within his competencies that these relations be intensified in the future.

Upon the act of handing credential papers to President Grybauskaite, the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Stockholm covers the Republic of Lithuania as a non-resident diplomatic mission accredited to Vilnus.
