Italy powerfully supporting Kosovo’s integration processes

Prishtina, 20 April 2012 – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj, received today in a meeting the Italian Ambassador to Kosovo, Michael Giffoni.

Minister Hoxhaj and ambassador Giffoni discussed on the very good bilateral relations between the two states by expressing the willingness by both sides for furthering relations in both areas placing a special emphasis on economical, trade, educational and cultural exchanges.

Minister Hoxhaj briefed the Italian ambassador on the continued progress of Kosovo in furthering its European Union integration agenda and thanking Italy for the powerful and all-comprehensive supports it is providing in this very important process for Kosovo.

Ambassador Michael Giffoni reaffirmed Italy’s continued support to Kosovo in all areas but placing a special emphasis on integration processes and towards strengthening the international subjectivity of the Republic of Kosovo.
