United States and Kosova will strengthen bilateral relations

Prishtina, 19 April 2012 – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj received in a meeting today the Ambassador of the United States of America, Christopher Dell.

Minister Hoxhaj thanked Ambassador Dell for the powerful support of U.S. to Kosova in all areas, which support is continuing strongly in this stage of developments for Kosova in the internal aspect and towards strengthening the international subjectivism of the Republic of Kosovo.

Minister Hoxhaj and Ambassador Dell discussed on the bilateral relations between the two countries.
Hoxhaj and Dell agreed on the mutual will for further empowering these relations with a special emphasis on strengthening economic cooperation.

At this meeting, they also discussed on organizing three economic conferences from Kosova to New York, Colorado and California.

Hoxhaj noted that during this month the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will focus on promoting the Economic Diplomacy Strategy drafted in cooperation with USAID experts and which is anticipated to yield significant results in promoting Kosova’s economic resources.

Minister Hoxhaj and Ambassador Dell discussed about Kosova’s processes of integration into Euro-Atlantic structures, for the progress, challenges and Kosova’s perspectives of integration into the European Union and NATO.
 
Hoxhaj and Dell also talked about the possibility of establishing several bilateral agreements between Kosovo and the United States, which would concretely strengthen the cooperation of these two countries in many fields
