The Assembly of Kosovo adopted the Resolution on concluding the supervision of independence
In this session, chaired by the President of the Assembly, Jakup Krasniqi, the resolution was presented by the representative of the head of the PDKs Parliamentary Group, Adem Grabovci. On this event, he informed that the Draft Resolution was supported by all Parliamentary Groups (except of Vetevendosje Movement), meanwhile he also spoke of its significance.
Prime Minister Thaçi also regarded this as a special and historical moment for Kosovo as it commences the process of concluding the supervised independence. He continued by saying that the success on beginning this process belong to all. This success, he stated, is not only a merit of a government or a mandate, but it is a merit of all of you. Further on it was the head of Parliamentary Groups who spoke regarding the resolution proposed by the Parliamentary Group of PDK.
This was then followed by a debate where deputies engaged in providing remarks and recommendations regarding the proposed resolution. After the debate, the draft resolution was put on a vote which was supported by the majority of the MPs (83 yes, 13 no votes).
