Minister Hoxhaj congratulates people of Egypt on the first anniversary of Arabian Spring

Prishtina, 25 January 2012 – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj, congratulated on behalf of the people and the Government of Kosovo the people of Egypt on the first anniversary of the Arabian Spring.

“In Egypt, we have all seen a strong desire to be free and the will of the people proved stronger than the violence of the dictator. Egyptians inspired all the countries in the region for freedom and democracy. Kosovo too congratulates and supports your country in joining the path of democracy,” reads a congratulatory telegram by Minister Hoxhaj.

Hoxhaj expresses his firm conviction that Egypt will overcome the current challenges very soon and will restore its position, as it has always been, as a leader in Africa, in the Arabian and the Islamic world. 

“The people of Kosovo are grateful to the people of Egypt for the support they have shown for us. We are deeply convinced that friendly relations and fruitful cooperation between the two people will only advance in the future,” reads a congratulatory note by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj.
