Hoxhaj condemns the assault on the Embassy of Great Britain in Tehran

Prishtina, 01 December – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj, on behalf of the Government of Kosovo, has condemned the assault on the Embassy of Great Britain in Iran’s capital, Tehran.

On this event, minister Hoxhaj, underscored that such acts are unacceptable and against international practice and laws on the regulation of relations between states.

On Wednesday, minister Hoxhaj sent a letter to the minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom, William Hague, where he expresses the support of the people and of the Government of Kosovo for the United Kingdom.

The letter states that “the Government of Kosovo joins with the democratic government by calling on the Government of Iran to respect international obligations in order to ensure a normal functioning of the diplomatic representation of the United Kingdom in Tehran”.
