Minister Pacolli: Kosovo and Slovakia need to raise the level of diplomatic representation and intensify economic relationship

Prishtina, 21 November 2017 – Raising the level of resident diplomatic representation between Kosovo and Slovakia and increasing economic co-operation and of Chambers of Commerce, from both respective countries were some of the issues that were discussed at the meeting, held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs between the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Behgjet Pacolli, and the Head of the Liaison Office of the Slovak Republic in Prishtina, Ľubomír Batáry.

In the framework of this meeting, both interlocutors shared the same view that the relations between the two countries are very good, considering that there is still room for intensifying the intensive economic cooperation and the exploitation of the new opportunities offered by the markets in these two countries.

Further, Minister Pacolli requested that Slovak journalists come and visit Kosovo, in order for the public opinion of Slovakia to become more familiar with the new developments and reality established in Kosovo and the potentials offered by the new country.
