Minister of Foreign Affairs, Behgjet Pacolli, visit to Malta

Prishtina, 1 November 2017 – During his stay in Malta, Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli commenced his activities by meeting with the President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, Ahmed Al Jarwan, a prominent personality in the Arab world, who same time chairs the Arab Parliament.

President Al Jarwan introduced Mr. Pacolli with the new international organization headquartered in Malta, founded by a group of personalities from all over the world, American senators, decision-makers from the Arab, African, European countries, etc., who will be dedicated to promoting initiatives throughout the world, to foster peace and tolerance. This organization shall work globally with its institutions, branches all over the world, including academic, social and media circles.

Mr. Pacolli highly praised the idea of establishing this organization, which commences its operations since today, with the presence of the highest authorities of Malta - the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Malta, the foreign ministers of several countries, members of parliaments, decision makers from numerous countries, etc. He told his interlocutor that Kosovo will have its role within this organization, with its branch, etc.

The presence of many worldwide personalities is a great chance for Mr. Pacollin to engage in lobbying activities with countries that have not yet recognized Kosovo. He commenced intensive contacts with delegations present at this inaugural meeting.
