Foreign Minister Pacolli: Qatar will strongly support Kosovo's membership in International Organizations

Prishtina, 24 October 2017 – The state of Qatar has supported and stayed close to Kosovo in all its processes, and remains committed to provide e even stronger support to our country, especially when it comes to Kosovo's membership in International Organizations, further strengthening of Kosovo's international subjectivity and its full integration into the International Community.

This was stated by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Behgjet Pacolli, upon receiving the Chargé D'Affaires of Qatar to Albania, Hashim Ibrahim Al-Sada.

In light of this meeting, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pacolli initially received congratulations from Emir of Qatar upon taking the office, delivered to him by the diplomatic representatives of this state, by ensuring further support from this state, and by accepting the official invitation to visit the state of Qatar at an appropriate time.

Upon this meeting, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pacolli, on behalf of Kosovo's institutions, expressed his deep gratitude to Chargé D'Affaires of State of Qatar, Ibrahim Al-Sada, for the so far support, expressing the commitment and willingness of the Kosovar side to further intensify the cooperation between the two countries.

Further, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pacolli also stressed the importance of relaxation of relations between Gulf States after the crisis that began earlier this year, underlining that the peace achieved between the Gulf States will affect strengthening the stability in the Middle East, band beyond.
