Kosovo Foreign Minister Pacolli: Kosovo and Belgium Should Increase Economic Cooperation and Promote Investment

Prishtina, 10 October 2017 – The Republic of Kosovo and the Kingdom of Belgium must add momentum to the efforts of both countries to boost economic cooperation and promote investment.

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Behgjet Pacolli, said thus during a separate meeting held in the Foreign Ministry with the resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Kosovo, François Bontemps.

During this meeting with the Belgian diplomat accredited in Kosovo, the need to support this country for visa liberalization, the advancement of the Euro-Atlantic agenda for Kosovo, as well as the continued support of the Kingdom of Belgium for Kosovo's membership in international organizations were also discussed.

The Kingdom of Belgium has been and continues to be a partner and friend of the Republic of Kosovo and has provided strong support to all state-building processes in Kosovo and to strengthening Kosovo's statehood in the international community.

Since receiving office as First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Pacolli, has put Economic Diplomacy as one of the main priorities of the Foreign Policy of the Republic of Kosovo.
