First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pacolli hosts the Ambassador of Austria, as Kosovo and Austria will have an action plan for bilateral relations

Prishtina, 3 October 2017 – Kosovo and Austria will have a bilateral action plan with a view to deepening and further expanding bilateral relations. This was announced at the meeting held between the First Deputy Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Behgjet Pacolli, and Austrian Ambassador to Kosovo, Gernot Pfandler.

Within the framework of this courtesy meeting, the excellent relations between the two countries have been confirmed with bilateral commitments for further increase of the level of cooperation with a more comprehensive scope.

As it was the first meeting since the First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Behgjet Pacolli, has been congratulated by Ambassador Pfandler for taking the office, the latter handed over the congratulation letter to Foreign Minister Pacolli through his counterpart as well, Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz.

Austria will continue to support the Republic of Kosovo in all the important processes the country is going through, including visa liberalization for Kosovo citizens, membership of the Republic of Kosovo in international organizations and with regards to the advancement of the European agenda.
