First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Behgjet Pacolli met with Turkish ambassador, receives confirmation regarding bilateral support and cooperation

In the light of meetings with the diplomatic corps that are accredited in Kosovo, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Behgjet Pacolli, hosted today in a meeting the Turkish Ambassador in Kosovo, Ms. Kivilcim Kiliç.

Ambassador Kiliç congratulated Minister Pacolli on the new position, by re-confirming Turkey's full support and cooperation in further consolidation of Kosovo's statehood in international aspect, including the integration in Euro-Atlantic structures and membership in international organizations.

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Pacolli thanked Ambassador Kilic for the firm support that Turkey has given in the past and continues to give for our country regarding the state-building process. Mr. Pacolli has urged to continue this support, especially in intensifying the country's diplomatic efforts to provide new recognitions from the countries where Turkey can have an impact and also to provide support for membership in international organizations.

Another topic that was discussed during the meeting was also the expansion of economic bilateral co-operation.

Both interlocutors have reflected and re-emphasized the mutual will for further enhancement and expansion of bilateral relations in the field of common interest.
