First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Behgjet Pacolli, hosted the US Ambassador Mr. Greg Delawie

Prishtina, September 12, 2017 - First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Behgjet Pacolli, had a meeting with the Ambassador of the United States of America in Kosovo, Mr. Greg Delawie.

Thanking the ambassador for the visit, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo, Mr. Behgjet Pacolli and Ambassador Delawie discussed the current position and Foreign Policy priorities of the Republic of Kosovo. Mr. Pacolli also urged close co-operation with representatives of the United States of America for the consolidation of Kosovo's statehood.

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Behgjet Pacolli, expressed the gratitude of the people and the Government of Kosovo for the continuous support and generous assistance of the United States during all processes of Kosovo state building.

With regard to strengthening the country's international subjectivity, Mr. Pacolli has sought US support for membership in international organizations. Highly praising the relations between Kosovo and the US, Mr. Pacolli emphasized the readiness of the Government of Kosovo for further strengthening of these relations. "US support in state building processes is of great importance for Kosovo to succeed," said Pacolli, among other things.
