Hoxhaj met with Egyptian delegation, Kosovo factor of stability in the region

Prishtina, February 28, 2017 – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo Enver Hoxhaj has welcomed today in a meeting a delegation of senior officials from the Arab Republic of Egypt, the former Foreign Minister of this country currently deputy of parliament of Egypt Mohamed Elorabi, as well as former adviser of the President, journalist of the national television of Egypt Ahmed Elmoselmany.

During the meeting Minister Hoxhaj spoke about cultural cooperation between Kosovo and Egypt, and emphasized that this is an asset with potential for development in both countries. It was also discussed about exchange of young diplomats through diplomatic academies of the Foreign Ministries of Kosovo and Egypt.

Hoxhaj pointed out that Kosovo should be taken as a good example for peace and security in the region.

"Kosovo is the best example of how a new state is an example of security and stability in the region and beyond", said Hoxhaj. "We also discussed about cultural exchanges that we may have as countries with ancient cultures, and at the same time, we discussed how to make the exchange of young diplomats through our diplomatic academies" added Minister Hoxhaj.
