Murtezaj: Kosovo committed to strengthen regional cooperation

Pravets, 31 May 2016 - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Valon Murtezaj, gave a speech in the forum of Ministers of Foreign Affairs in the concluding meetings of the Bulgarian Presidency of the South-East European Cooperation Process being held in Bulgaria.

In his speech towards forum of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of SEECP, Deputy Minister Murtezaj mentioned achievements of the Republic of Kosovo towards European integration, as well as expressed the commitment of institutions of the country to contribute to the strengthening of regional cooperation and beyond for the purpose of strengthening peace and increasing economic development. 

During his speech, Deputy Minister Murtezaj stated processes which Kosovo is going through and elaborated the commitment of Kosovo in the path towards European integrations even following the signature of Stabilization and Association Agreement.

He also explained to the forum of ministers the further journey of Kosovo towards carrying out reforms in the field of rule of law and the efforts for economic development and social sustainability. In addition to the ministers of Members States, in the meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the South-East Europe Cooperation Process are also participating senior officers from the countries of South-East Europe, as well as other officers in the role of observers from Europe and US.
