The six-member crew of the film “Martesa” heads to Estonia

Prishtina, 24 November 2017 – The group of artists from Kosovo will head to Estonia in order to be present and answer the session questions after the film "Martesa" will be shown twice at the "A" category festival.

The director and screenwriter Blerta Zeqiri, actors of the main roles, Adriana Matoshi, Alban Ukaj and Genc Salihu, producer Kreshnik Berisha and Director of the Kosova Cinematography Center, Arben Zharku, will be present at the world premiere of the film at the Tallinn Film Festival. The film, co-funded by the state, will be screened at the prestigious festival on 28 and 29 November.

The Kosovo team's travel and stay there has been supported by the KCC and the organizers of the festival. While making the final preparations for the presentation at the prestigious festival, the team revealed the story of "Martesa" through its official website.

Two weeks before the wedding, Anita (Adriana Matoshi) and Bekim (Alban Ukaj) are making the final preparations for the big day. Although they are still waiting for news with regard to Anita's parents, declared missing since the 1999 war in Kosovo and with the Bekim's family constantly searching for them, on the other hand, the couple seemed to manage with their preparations.

However, when the secret gay lover of Bekim, Noli (Genc Salihu), returns to the country, the situation suddenly becomes very complicated, especially when Bekim realizes that he is still in love with him.
