The 17th edition of the Francophone Film Festival in Kosovo has started

Prishtina, 22 November 2017 – The 17th edition of the Francophone Film Festival in Kosovo has started. The opening of this festival took place at Cineplexx Cinema.

David and Stéphane Foenkinos's film "Jalouse" was introduced by film directors themselves. A literary meeting was held at the Faculty of Philology in Prishtina on the adaptation of literary works to the cinema by the Foenkinos brothers, who regularly collaborate on projects of works and films.

Activities will continue in cinemas and with shows every evening at 19:00 on Cineplexx from 20 to 24 November. A Belgian cinema evening will be held on Friday, November 24, at 19:00, in the French Alliance of Prishtina, with the screening of the film "Tokyo Fiancée".

The festival will continue on 25 and 26 November at the cinema "Jusuf Gervalla" in Peja, in cooperation with the Anibar festival team. Finally, on 30 November, the screening of the Tapis Rouge film will be held at the University of Pristina (Faculty of Philology) for students.

The Francophone Film Festival in Kosovo is organized by the Embassy of France in Kosovo in cooperation with the diplomatic missions of Switzerland, Belgium and Luxembourg, the French Alliance of Prishtina, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo
