"The Independent" describes the joint mountains of Kosovo, Albania and Montenegro

Prishtina, 2 November 2017 - The British newspaper "The Independent" has published a long, descriptive article, explaining tourism in the mountains of Kosovo, Albania and Montenegro known as "Balkan Peaks" by renowned author Rudolf Abraham.

The author describes these mountains as a spectacular place with limestone peaks, green pastures and wonderfully hospitable villages. He gives details of the journey that he calls epic from 193 kilometers long which according to him can be seen the most beautiful landscapes of this corner of Europe.

"The entire journey lasted 10 days by walking, with accommodation and meals provided by villagers. In Albania you can even rest in bunkers, on one of the thousand ones that were built during the time of Enver Hoxha, the Albanian dictator“, reports the author. Then it describes the journey through the mountains of Kosovo and Montenegro, describing them as miracles of nature that deserve more attention.
